After a busy, busy December, I've finally gotten around to sharing some photos of Christmas. I wish I had gotten around to taking more pictures, especially when we were with family, but chasing my little toddler tornado around the Northeast took up most of my time and energy!
Here is Hads standing outside our church before her preschool Christmas party:
And visiting Santa at Enchanted Airlie. When we asked her later if she liked seeing Santa she responded with an enthusiastic, "Yes! Ho Ho!"
A few days before Christmas, we made the long drive to Bethlehem to spend the holiday with family.
We went to Painting with a Twist for a girls painting night. We convinced Brett to come and his painting turned out amazing (no surprise there!)

Hadley spent the whole week going 100 miles per hour, as evidenced by the hairdo below. She loved following "Tarby" the cat and BobBob around the house all hours of the day (and night).
We celebrated Cathy's birthday....
And spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at PapaDon's. This was the first Christmas Hadley understood opening presents, and she had a blast opening her presents and trying to open everyone else's!
After Papa Don's, we went to Uncle Adam and Aunt Erin's house. The grown up kids did a gift exchange and the little kids opened more presents. Hadley didn't have much interest in the presents because she was too busy running full speed around the house chasing Avery and "Grace."
In fact, Hadley ran so much that she ran right into the corner of the kitchen table. She had a big goose egg on her forehead. After that, she learned her lesson and spent the rest of the day quietly resting.
Just kidding.
We tried to tame her for a few minutes so we could apply ice, but Hadley wasn't happy about that and wanted to get right back to playing with her cousins!
Here's a nice group shot of Brett's side of the family. Photo cred: Erin's camera.
After Adam and Erin's, we went to Mema's house for a delicious Christmas dinner. Hadley chased the dog around and wore oven mitts on her hands. It was a fun end to a busy week!
Showing off that goose egg....
The next day, we drove back to Wilmington. The dogs were so happy to have us back. We spent the next few days cleaning, cleaning, cleaning the house and organizing all of the lovely gifts we received.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
